Sillbound is a small site about indoor cats and the spots they actually use.

A cushion goes on the sill. A mat goes in front of the box. A towel goes in the dry tub. The square looks ready. The cat still takes the chair, the hall, or the rim. This site stays with that gap: the first move that looks right, and the morning it still fails.

Each article starts from one action in the house. It does not turn the page into a shopping list, a clinic note, or a lecture on how every cat should live. It stays on the ledge, the bag, the rail, or the cave in front of you, and it splits the hour when that action holds from the hour when the body chooses a different square.

Sillbound is not a house-systems blog. Wiring, plumbing, wet entry floors, and kitchen work as household infrastructure belong elsewhere. The subject here is daily habit: where the cat sits, walks, hides, and leaves a mark, and what changed when you only dressed the square you preferred.

The writing is meant to be useful the next morning. It is not veterinary advice, and it does not rank products. If a page cannot be honest at a useful length, it is not published.
